Anna Kate Callow returns to her mother’s home town of Wicklow, Alabama to bury her Granny Zee, the owner of the Blackbird Cafe. What was planned as a quick trip to close the cafe and settle her grandmother’s estate before heading off to med school, instead Anna Kate finds herself caught up in running the cafe and discovering more about her father’s side of the family.
